Rebang Jacinta Achu is a research assistant at AFRICSIS as well as a public health expert and microbiologist. Rebang complements our team with her expertise in research, epidemiology and health delivery with good communication skills to impact behavioral change. Her interests include hygiene and sanitation, international security and infectious disease control.
Rebang has served as part-time A Level Biology and Chemistry Teacher at Presbyterian High School Batibo (2015-2017)—and as a volunteer at the Solidarity Health Foundation In Molyko/Buea for six months, where she worked as a medical laboratory technician.
She received her M.S. in public health from the Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Buea, Cameroon in 2017. She also earned her B.S. in Microbiology from the University of Buea in 2015.
