Doline K. Ewo is a research assistant at AFRICSIS and she is based in Cameroon’s office in Yaounde. Doline complements the AFRICSIS team with her knowledge of social life and the social causes and consequences of human behavior as well as human experience around the world, past and present necessary to formulate policies for positive change in our world. Her research interests include international organizations, gender representation and diversity, and international security in the nuclear field.

 

Prior to joining AFRICSIS, Doline held ad hoc responsibilities with three organizations. She was employed as an intern from August - September 2018 at Cameroon’s Regional Delegation of Youth Affairs and Civic Education in Buea where her work contributed to improving youth employment through the implementation of employment awareness-raising workshops for youths within the framework of the National Support Programme for Rural and Urban Youth (PAJER-U) – Cameroon’s activities organizing and Government’s Special Youth Triennial Plan.

 

She has also served as a marketing manager from November 2019 – February 2020 in the Douala office of GLOBAL TELECOMMUNICATION HOUSE (GLOTELHO), a product and service company in the After-Sales Service (SAV), Technology, Corporate Sales and E-commerce sectors in Cameroon and across the Central African region where she promoted the Company’s products and services with a focus on increasing sales. Finally, she was a sales agent from July – September 2017 at King’s David Square Hotel in Buea where her role included taking orders from customers, offering services, and providing support in person or via the internet and telephone to meet client needs.

 

Doline received her B.Sc in Sociology and Anthropology from the Faculty of Social and Management Sciences, University of Buea, Cameroon in 2020. In her undergraduate studies, she also explored philosophy and global policy. Her passion lies in international affairs both in theory and practice, and AFRICSIS is her first step into the application of this acquired knowledge
