Colin Ayeah Diyen is Grants and Contracts Specialist at AFRICSIS in Yaounde, Cameroon. In Cameroon, after a brief stay as a Contract Worker in the Secretariat of State for Internal Security, Colin moved out and created a Consultancy firm known as Break-through Development Consultants (BEDEVCONSULT). He has since been a consultant in the fields of Rural Development, Business Development and Management, and Conflict and Conflict Resolution. With this accumulated experience, he is an expert in Grant Proposals, Business Plan Writing, and Capacity Building Trainings and Awareness Raising Trainings.
Colin is also a promoter of nuclear nonproliferation; the first two out of his eight fiction books published (The Earth in Peril, The Earth Fights back) are about the dangers of nuclear proliferation. As a hobby, Colin Diyen has been working to maintain biodiversity, an endeavor which convinced him to become a promoter and board member of one of the most prominent ecological organizations in Cameroon: the Mixed Farming Common Initiative Group (MIFACIG) Training and Resource Centre. This organization boasts many positive activities, principally among these are Tree Domestication and Agroforestry.
Colin attended Saint Joseph’s College Sasse and Cameroon College of Arts, Science and Technology, Bambili. He further studied in the Patrice Lumuba People’s Friendship University in Moscow, the then capital of the USSR, from 1978 to 1984. At the end of his studies in Moscow, Colin Diyen obtained a Master of Science Degree in Economics.
